Job summary

Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams and provide optimal patient care. The role requires knowledge of anatomy, positioning, image quality, and radiation safety, with responsibilities including IV access for contrast when needed.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree, ARRT-R Radiography certification, and BLS within 30 days of start; weekend shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Weekend Shift must be available.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiology exams with attention to patient care and safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, positioning and radiographic techniques.
• Ensure proper sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Involve contrast media administration and IV line initiation when required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist will provide optimum patient care while performing Radiology exams for all patients.Responsible for knowledge of human anatomy, routine positioning and specialized view positioning, technical factors and film selection, radiation safety, proper sterile technique, contrast media administration. Initiate and maintain peripheral IV lines for contrast media injection, initiate emergency measures within the guidelines set forth by CHS.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• Weekend Shift
