Job summary

Akicita Federal, LLC seeks a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography Certification to provide imaging services at the Mescalero Service Unit for the Indian Health Service. You will perform diagnostic radiographic and mammographic exams and maintain patient records.

The role requires ARRT certification, Mammography certification (ARRT(M) preferred), and at least one year of radiology experience, with a focus on safety and quality patient care. This is an on-site position at Mescalero, NM.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Mammography Certification (ARRT(M) preferred).
• Minimum one year of experience in radiology and mammography.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compliance with Buy Indian Act preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiologic and Mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain radiographic and mammography equipment.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Follow guidelines set by IHS and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and equipment maintenance.

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography Certification to provide imaging services at the Mescalero Service Unit. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic Radiographic and Mammographic examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

$100,000 - $135,000 a year
