Job summary

North American Medical Associates is seeking an imaging professional to identify patients, perform radiographic procedures, and deliver high-quality images. You will operate C-Arm equipment, prepare rooms, and ensure safety compliance across sites in New Jersey.

Candidate should have AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT certification, and NJ licensure as applicable. Full-time position with benefits and travel between NJ sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT Certification and CPR/BLS status required.
• State NJ license preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately identifies and evaluates patients for imaging studies and procedures.
• Operates C-Arm and produces high-quality radiographic images.
• Performs imaging studies meeting quality requirements and physician orders.
• Maintains room, equipment and supplies for exams.
• Ensures infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Travels between sites as needed.

Description

• Appropriately identifies and evaluates patients for imaging studies and procedures
• Efficient with C-Arm manipulation and producing high quality radiographic images
• Takes physician orders/ requisition, performs and completes imaging studies that comply with quality requirements
• Provides appropriate care to all patients.
• Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are taken
• Keeps supplies current and replenished to provide immediate availability during the procedure
• Prepares room, equipment and supplies for the exam
• Promotes teamwork by demonstrating willingness to assist others in meeting the needs of all individuals and collaborating effectively with the team and other departments throughout the organization.
• Complies with infection control and safety policies
• Complies with radiation guidelines and safety standards, for self, patients and other associates.
• Assists with general patient care when needed
• Performing QA and keeping record in logbook up to date
• Prepares patient for procedure by positioning and sterilizing procedure site
• Performs tasks as assigned by Manager
• Travel will be required between sites as needed

• CPR Healthcare Provider status for BLS
