Perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, ensure high-quality images, maintain safety protocols, and provide patient education and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Keep accurate records, operate imaging systems, and adhere to departmental and safety standards. Assist and instruct colleagues and students in exam procedures and equipment use.
ARRT certification, state licensure, BLS certification, and preferably 1-2 years of radiology experience. Strong understanding of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, manual dexterity, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain competency, verify patient identity, prepare patients, perform exams, review images, ensure safety, document procedures, and follow protocols for quality and safety. Capable of manual tasks such as lifting and patient transfer, and working with complex equipment.
