This position is responsible for directing patient flow and communicating with the technologists to ensure quality treatment and patient care.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesEnsure effective and efficient workflow is maintained to meet departmental standardsProduce high quality diagnostic images for interpretation by a RadiologistComplete all required education and provide education to staff, as neededEnsure equipment, operations, and daily functions are maintained to meet Joint Commission standards, as neededQualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Licensure and Certifications: ARRT Registry and AR State Licensure or ARRT registry eligible with temporary AR state licensure; BCLS certification is required.Experience: Previous experience as a radiologic technologist in a Joint Commission accredited healthcare facility, preferred.Work Environment: This position spends 80% of the time standing and/or walking with frequent pushing, pulling lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lb. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position will spend 30% of time positioning patients and equipment.
