Medical City Dallas is seeking a Radiology Tech for a PRN seasonal role in Dallas, TX. The position involves performing quality diagnostic radiographs under supervision and maintaining radiation safety standards within a busy radiology department.

The role requires ARRT registration, state radiologic technologist credentials, and an associates degree or military radiologic training. Shifts vary; there are no guaranteed hours in the seasonal program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist for all ages.
• Maintains a safe radiologic environment following practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• Seasonal staff are PRN and may have no guaranteed hours; shifts may vary by department needs.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities
• PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
• All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026--27 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year.
• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
