Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis with rotating shifts. You will produce high quality radiographs and deliver professional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification (or eligibility), and Maryland licensure, with CPR certification. You will operate DR, CR, fluoro, OR and portable C-arm systems and support ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC/ERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Registry eligible.
• Licensed by the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Ensures radiographs are taken in accordance with state regulations and ALARA.
• Operates DR, CR, fluoro, diagnostic rooms, portable and C-arm machines.
• Performs the variety of exams in diagnostic radiology and the OR.
• Identifies care needs of patients and implements interventions with appropriate equipment.
• Participates in a team environment and performs duties as assigned.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.

Description

• Produces high quality radiographs while providing professional and quality care to the patients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that radiographs are taken in accordance with the State regulations and in conjunction with the ALARA principle.

• Able to operate all equipment to include DR, CR, fluoro, diagnostic rooms, portable and C-arm machines.

• Able to perform the variety of exams that are performed in diagnostic radiology and the OR.

• Identifies care needs of patients/significant others and implements interventions and utilizes equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served to include: neonates, infants, pediatric, young adults, middle adults and late adults.

• Participates in team environment and will do duties as assigned which are not limited to any one modality.

• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.

What you will need:

Pay Range: $32.44 - $50.29

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
