Qualifications

• Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographs under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain radiation safety in the imaging department.
• Participate in department Performance Improvement activities.

Skills

Basic Life Support

Education

State Registered Radiologic Technician-AART or MRT in TX

Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training per ARRT
