Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Indio, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a fulltime day shift. The role involves diverse radiologic procedures, QA/QI activities, patient scheduling, and PACS/Cerner workflow. A strong emphasis is on image quality, safety, and collaboration with Radiologists and staff.

Requires CA CRT license, fluoroscopy within a year, and BLS; CT and Cath Lab experience are preferred to enhance duties and patient care. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiology technologist with CA certification.
• Fluoroscopy license required within 12 months.
• CT experience preferred for the role.
• BLS certification current and valid.
• Cath Lab experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures under supervision and direction of imaging leadership.
• Assist with QA/QI studies, patient scheduling, and crash cart monitoring.
• Learn and use Cerner and McKesson PACS systems for imaging studies.
• Position includes portable X-ray readiness and equipment maintenance.

Education

Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology

Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) - CA RHB Certification

Current Fluoroscopy License - within 1 year

CT experience preferred

American Heart Association BLS

Cath Lab experience preferred

Hours: 7am-7:30pm Days worked will Vary

Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience

Under the direction of the Medical Director, and in conjunction with the Administrative Director of Imaging Services performs various radiological procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to: limited monitoring of patients during procedures, performing some Specialized Radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, working in various areas and with various equipment. Also assists with QA and QI studies, patient scheduling, and crash cart monitoring. Technologist is expected to learn and perform with our Cerner information system and complete studies in our McKesson PACS system. Position is expected to solve PACS during the shift. Technologists are to complete all portable Xrays ordered ready for shift. With limited supervision uses independent judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic images. Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration. Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff. Assists the Radiologist with contrast administration. Practices sterile technique and other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) - California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) Certification
• Current Fluoroscopy License - required within one (1) year of hire
• Special procedures, CT experience preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Cath Lab experience preferred
