University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a Radiology Technologist I to perform a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages. You will support department operations and ensure patient safety during imaging exams.
Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Texas MRT, ARRT-R, and active BLS certification; one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
The Radiology Technologist I performs a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages. Completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while the patient is in department for procedures. Assists with the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the department.
Work Experience: One year of Diagnostic Imaging experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Texas Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) required.
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT- R) credential required.
Active BLS certification required.
Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences from an accredited Radiologic Technology school required.
