Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Haven is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and direct patient care within the radiology department. You will position patients, adjust technical factors, and capture high quality images while maintaining ALARA principles and patient comfort.

Requires ARRT RT(R) certification with CPR, 1+ year experience preferred, or new graduate. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Comfort with radiographic imaging and patient care tasks.
• Ability to maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Proficient in EMR usage and radiology software.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures to department standards.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and privacy during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Monitor equipment, ensure cleaning and safety checks, restock supplies.
