Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Full Time Radiology Tech. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. The role requires ARRT registration, Texas licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General, BLS, and 2–5 years of experience in radiology, with OR and CT capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA–approved Radiologic Technology program (AART).
• Registered with ARRT and licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License; current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and promptly under radiologist supervision.
• Assists radiologist and physicians with interventional procedures within the department and OR.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper asepsis; operates radiology equipment safely.
• Processes images via PACS and CR; handles X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm & CT modalities.
• Executes routine diagnostic radiology exams and portable exams; safe C-Arm operation in OR.
• Maintains radiation safety practices at all times and prints films as required.
• Maintains flexible schedule and participates in department call after hours, weekends and holidays.
