Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment and perform routine radiographs for diverse patient populations.

You will work with autonomy under indirect supervision, prepare patients, ensure safety, and adhere to ARRT standards and CPR certification. Experience in cardiovascular/interventional imaging is preferred, with opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• Certified in CPR.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

REQUIRED:

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED:

1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
