Job summary

UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's-Downtown is seeking a Technical Assistant for PRN, day and evening shifts. You will transport patients, assist with patient care, and support radiology staff while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities include helping technologists, handling office tasks, and ensuring patient privacy and safety. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with CNA preferred and CPR/BCLS current or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification in IA preferred.
• Healthcare/patient care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for work-related driving.
• CPR/BCLS certification current or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the Imaging Department.
• Assist technologists with patient care and prepare patients for procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of transportation equipment and waiting areas.
• Provide office/secretarial support as needed and assist in radiology offices.
• Coordinate with Imaging staff to minimize delays and protect patient privacy.
