Qualifications

• Radiologic technologists must perform radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety.
• HIPAA compliance and professional behavior are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of radiographic procedures.
• Assists Radiologist and staff physicians as needed.
• Demonstrates radiographic skills and proper patient care.
• Uses immobilization devices per policy.
• Maintains HIPAA regulations.
• Performs contrast injections per policy.
• Oversees students with appropriate leadership skills.
• Maintains good communication and problem resolution.
• Acts as a professional role model for staff.
• Ensures a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assesses patient safety risk and applies precautions.
• Complies with radiation safety and infection control standards.
