Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under physician direction. The role supports our clinical team, ensuring patients receive high-quality care and a smooth workflow.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensing, and current BLS. The weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 5am-5:30pm) at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge Colorado, is part of a full-time schedule within 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved radiologic training program.
• Current ARRT registry/certification in radiologic technology.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
• Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as needed in ED and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists' reading/interpretation following procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members and physicians.
• Maintain x-ray equipment and arrange preventative maintenance as scheduled.
