UnityPoint Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams under the direction of a radiologist and provide compassionate patient care. The role includes operating X-ray equipment, supporting on-call rotations, and occasional weekends/holidays based on department needs.
Full-time position with shift 8:30am-5pm and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Ideal for candidates currently studying radiology with ARRT certification in Iowa and BLS on file.

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic X-ray exams (based on department needs) under the direction of a radiologist. The Radiology Technologist provides compassionate direct patient care with an emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior. The Radiology Technologist operates diagnostic X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body. Where applicable, the Radiology Technologist is required to participate in an on-call rotation outside of business hours based on department needs and must be able to work some weekends and holidays.

Education: Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology License(s)/Certification(s):Current ARRT and State of Iowa permit to practice. Maintain ARRT AND IDPH CEU requirements. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
