Radiology Tech Full Time Days Position Summary

Performs radiographic procedures to patients in accordance with departmental policy. Provides a variety of technical exams that require independent judgement to apply ionized radiation for radiologic diagnoses. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. Must be able to do surgery cases and pain management.

Special Skills

Good verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.

Supervises

Functional supervision will be exercised over students.

Candidate Education and Experience

• Minimum Education: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Preferred Experience: Minimum six (6) months clinical experience.
• Required Certifications/License: Current American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR.
