Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks a Registered Radiology Technologist to perform medical imaging examinations under physician direction. This full-time weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5am–5:30pm) supports our clinical team and patient care.

You will position patients for x-ray procedures, operate portable machines, process images for radiologists, and maintain equipment. Required ARRT registry eligibility, state license, and BLS certification; preferred one year

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and ARRT registry eligibility.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Produce x-ray images as directed, position patients and ensure clear films.
• Operate portable x-ray machines in ED and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists following procedures.

As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films. Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.
• Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines.
• Promote effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$29.43 - $45.39
