Penn Medicine is seeking a technologist assistant to support radiology and cardiovascular patient care at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. This part-time role involves 20 hours per week with 2nd or 3rd shift weekends and occasional holidays, under the supervision of a registered technologist/sonographer.

Responsibilities include patient care, room preparation, equipment readiness, safety compliance, and coordination with the Heart and Vascular team.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced radiology or cardiovascular patient care activities and procedures under indirect supervision.
• Assists in developing and monitoring department systems to improve quality of patient care.
• Greets patients, confirms identity, explains procedures, and maintains sterile environment.
• Schedules patients and maintains inventory for the assigned workstation.
• Reports equipment conditions and ensures safety through routine checks.
