Job summary

Rochester Regional Health Imaging Center – Northern Heights in Rochester, NY is seeking a Radiology Assistant on a per diem basis. You will assist radiology technologists with daily tasks, support patient care, and help ensure safety protocols are followed in the department.

Responsibilities include stocking and organizing supplies, handling clerical duties, transporting patients, assisting with ambulation and transfers, and communicating with the care team to meet patient needs while upholding

Qualifications

Basic Computer skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
One year patient care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Stocks room appropriately and rotates supplies based on expiration dates.
Ensures regulatory logs are completed daily.
Uses team effort to turnover rooms within acceptable timeframes.
Transports patients to and from the department safely.
Assists with ambulation, transferring or lifting of patients.
Performs clerical duties: filing, faxing, scanning documents.
Answers and returns phone calls; completes safety/history forms; communicates with Care team.
Provides safe and competent care for patients related to elimination and hygiene needs.
Demonstrates compassion and supports patients and family members.
Adheres to mission and values of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
