Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Radiology Student Tech to perform general diagnostic radiologic imaging in ambulatory settings. You will operate equipment, develop films, and prepare the patient area under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled and have completed 2 ARRT-accredited semesters; non-student candidates require 2 years of patient care management experience.

Qualifications

• Requires enrollment in accredited program with ARRT prerequisites.
• No experience required for student roles; 2 semesters completed for student tech.
• Non-student roles require 2 years patient care management experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment and develop films under supervision.
• Prepare patient room and equipment; perform basic clinical duties.
• Provide clinical support including IV lines and basic lab work under supervision.
