Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required.
• Basic understanding of radiographic procedures and imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection prevention practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback in a clinical learning environment.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic examinations under direct supervision.
• Positions patients appropriately and selects technical factors.
• Communicates with patients to provide instructions and comfort.
• Follows PPE, radiation safety, and infection control protocols.
• Accurately labels images and uses side markers.
• Documents procedures in the appropriate systems and enters charges as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
• Seeks guidance from technologists to enhance learning.
