Job summary

Atlantic Health's Radiology Service Engineering team in Summit, NJ, is seeking a Radiology Service Engineer II to perform intermediate to advanced maintenance, calibration, and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation and high-quality patient care.

Under minimal supervision, you will troubleshoot complex imaging system problems, perform preventive maintenance, assist with installations and system integrations, maintain CMMS records, mentor Radiology Service

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in science/tech (BMET/EET) or military BMET training
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• AAMI Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) preferred
• 5 years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment in a hospital or service organization

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, CM, acceptance testing and installation on imaging equipment per standards.
• Diagnose and repair complex imaging equipment.
• Respond to service calls promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain CMMS records for maintenance and inspections.
• Interface with radiology staff, physicians and vendors to support clinical needs.
• Provide training and mentorship to Radiology Service Engineer I.
• Assist with new equipment installations and system integrations.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and test equipment.
