Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to organize and administer the clinical education component of the Radiography Program. You will manage student clinical experiences, site recruitment, assignment coordination, competency evaluations, and communication with clinical sites.

Occasional didactic/lab duties may be required. The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and strong organizational and communication skills to ensure compliant and effective clinical education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related area is required.
  • Equivalent experience and training may substitute for a degree.
  • Current state radiologic technology license is required.
  • Current, unrestricted Radiography certification is required.
  • BLS or CPR certification for healthcare providers is required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and maintaining clinical education affiliates with diverse experiences.
  • Ensure clinical settings are formally recognized before student assignments.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate quality and safety of education environments.
  • Develop and distribute clinical rotation schedules for all students.
  • Enforce supervision policies during clinical assignments.
  • Implement and maintain the program's competency-based evaluation system.
  • Analyze clinical competency pass rates and contribute to accreditation documentation.
  • Maintain documentation and communications regarding clinical assignments and evaluations.
  • Counsel students with clinical difficulties in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Participate in program advisory committee and outcomes assessments.

Radiology - Rad Tech

Hours per Shift: 8 hours

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • At least two years of experience working in an educational setting.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience in radiography following initial certification.

License:

  • Current state radiologic technology license.

Certifications:

  • Current, unrestricted certification and registration in Radiography.
  • Current BLS or CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience and training.
  • Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards related to clinical education.
  • Clinical practice knowledge and applied experience in radiologic technology.
  • Leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Description:The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the organization and administration of the clinical education component of the Radiography Program.This role ensures that clinical instruction is delivered in compliance with applicable standards and established policies and procedures.The Clinical Coordinator manages the full scope of student clinical experiences, including site recruitment, student assignments, competency evaluations, and ongoing communication with clinical education settings.This position may also participate in didactic or laboratory instruction as assigned.Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all clinical settings are formally recognized before students are assigned.
  • Conducting regular site visits to evaluate the quality and safety of clinical education environments.
