Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care in a clinical area, using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, implement and evaluate care. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the health team to maintain professional standards.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program, RN licensure in Alabama, and CPR; ACLS and possibly PALS depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nursing program approved and accredited by the Alabama State Board of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred for Hospital locations; Associate's degree required for TKC locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age groups.
• Deliver care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Interact with patient, family, and health team while maintaining professional standards.
