Job summary
A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Radiology Practitioner Assistant to join their team in California. In this role, you will assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring quality care and effective communication with patients and colleagues. Ideal candidates will possess the necessary state licenses and certifications, with a strong focus on patient care and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Certification from an advanced academic program through Weber State University (RPA) or a certified/approved program (RA).
Experience in all general fluoroscopy procedures including gastrointestinal and genitourinary.
Ability to remain professional in all situations.
Responsibilities
Verify and review patient's referring physician order prior to performing exams.
Assist Radiologist with biopsies, drainages, and other procedures as needed.
Document and record procedure(s) following established company policy.

State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
State License Fluoroscopy permit
ACLS certification
