Job summary

Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) seeks a Physician Radiologist to interpret the full range of diagnostic imaging exams, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and mammography, and to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

The role involves evaluating imaging results for diagnosis and education, consulting with clinical providers before procedures, and supporting remote teleradiology call schedules as needed. A U.S. license and radiology residency are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. licensed physician with MD/DO education.
• Residency in Radiology with at least 4 years training/experience.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. medical license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the full range of general diagnostic imaging exams (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, etc.).
• Evaluate imaging results for diagnosis, patient care, research and education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary diagnostic imaging team.
• Consult with clinical providers before procedures to minimize invasiveness.
• Coordinate radiological services with other medical activities and departments.
• Participate in remote/off-site teleradiology schedules and coverage.
