Job summary

BAS HealthCare is seeking an experienced Board Certified Radiologist to provide onsite coverage in Windber, PA. The role requires interpreting XR, CT, MR, US, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy across a broad case mix.

The position entails performing light IR procedures, biopsies, CT- and US-guided techniques, and a variety of invasive studies. PA license, board certification, and DEA registration are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania medical license is required.
• Board certification in Radiology is required.
• DEA registration is required.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days at time of offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite radiology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Interpret XR, CT, MR, US, Nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy.
• Perform and interpret light IR procedures and biopsies (Thyroid, Bone, Lung, Liver, Renal).
• Perform CT-guided and US-guided procedures including Drainages, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drainages.
• Perform Chest Tube placements, cyst procedures, and Lumbar Punctures including Diagnostic Lumbar Punctures and Myelograms.
• Perform Epidural and Arthrogram procedures as well as Joint Injections (Knee, Elbow, Hip, Ankle, Shoulder).
• Daily volume: 90-100 reads per 8-hour shift with 60-70 wRVUs.
• NPDB self-query within 30 days of offer.
