UPMC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse to join our care delivery team. This full-time RN role covers a variety of shifts and provides patient-centered care with independent judgment, collaboration with physicians, and leadership within the unit.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring patient safety, teaching patients and families, and participating in quality improvement activities. Travel may be required and is reimbursed.

• Applies the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment and plan patient care.
• Provides teaching to patients and families to guide the episode of care and transitions.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts and supports patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
• Develops collaborative relationships and communicates effectively with physicians and the health care team.
