Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for contrast coverage in an outpatient setting. You will screen patients, prepare them for procedures, administer medications, and assist with arthrograms and biopsies as needed.

This per diem position features day shifts and requires ACLS, NP licensure, and state licensure. Join a team focused on high-quality radiology services and patient care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
NP license and certification, current and in good standing.
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation and reduce apprehension.
Perform radiology procedures and administer prescribed medications (e.g., contrasts).
Screen patients prior to procedures for precautions and MRI safety.
Review patient history and complete required consents.
Utilize IV start skills and document care in the EMR.
Maintain efficient workflow to keep CT/MRI on schedule.
