Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Radiology department to determine patient care plans and collaborate with the medical team. The role involves ordering and interpreting laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, applying medical decision-making, and communicating clearly with patients.

Shift is M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates should hold an accredited NP or PA program degree and a current state license; a Master's is

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current applicable state medical licence.
• Ability to perform complex patient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure
• Exemplary organizational skills
