Job summary

Cynet Health in Richmond, Virginia seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment on GE 1.5T equipment. VA license, MR registered, and BLS required, with at least two years of MRI experience in brain, spine, abdomen and cardiac imaging.

Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00 on a 12-hour schedule. Weekend call once per month and two weeknights (11 PM–6 AM) are included. Meditech and Centricity PACS experience preferred; navy scrubs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI tech experience.
• VA License required.
• MR Registered; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI brain, spine, ortho body, abdomen and cardiac scans.
• Maintain and operate GE 450W 1.5T system.
• Document procedures and ensure patient safety; follow EMR protocols.

Description:General CommentsThis unit has 5 staff members, including 2 technologists on day shift, 2 technologists on evening shift, and on-call staff for nights.The type of equipment used includes GE 450W 1.5 T.The electronic medical record systems utilized are Meditech and Centricity PACS.Typical procedures performed include brain, spine, ortho body, abdomen, and cardiac scans.Weekend call rotation typically requires one weekend per month and two weeknights of call each week from 11 PM to 6 AM.The dress code requires navy scrubs.
