We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at an acute care hospital. This position involves performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and more. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of radiology procedures with high accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Maintain thorough patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Assist in patient education regarding processes and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT Certification and ARRT Advanced Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Schedule
This position offers a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, from 08:00 AM to 05:30 PM. The flexible block scheduling includes availability on Saturday to Monday.
