Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Lexington, KY is seeking a Medical Assistant with LMR or RT certification for a full-time role. The MA will collect patient information, perform EKGs, venipunctures, labs, and radiographic tasks, while supporting the physician and hospital team.

The position emphasizes patient care across ages, radiation safety, accurate data entry, and adherence to OSHA and department policies. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, venipunctures, pulmonary function testing and other lab procedures.
• Accurately obtain vital signs and record patient data.
• Perform radiographic exams and ensure film quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and restock equipment and supplies.
• Assist physician with exams/procedures and ensure infection control.
