Job summary

Atlantic Mobile Imaging Services is seeking a Lead Tech to oversee radiology operations and supervise the tech team at our Florida facility. The Radiology Technician duties include preparing patients for procedures, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and controlling exposure to capture the required results, while maintaining equipment and supplies.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, with strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with medical charting;

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with medical charting is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

• Oversee training on new techs
• Ongoing support to all X-Ray techs
• QA Monthly review
• Oversee Tech Fleet and maintence records.
• Oversee Machines making sure they are functioning and report any concerns

Job Summary

You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.
