Overview

Radiology Interventional Technologist/Special Procedure Tech at Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland, OR.

Full‑Time/Day Shift.

$15,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates meeting all payment conditions, in addition to the benefits and compensation package beginning on day one.

PPMC offers a unique opportunity to engage in cardiac/STEMI, IR and neuro/Stroke programs. We pride ourselves on improving patient outcomes and recently reduced door‑to‑device time in stroke care to a record 50 minutes.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the physician, provide cardiovascular/radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders; assist physician as required and perform related work as assigned. Monitor radiation safety during procedures and operate various imaging and interventional equipment including Philips fluoroscopy, Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT, atherectomy devices (rotoblator, CSI, Shockwave, laser), thrombectomy equipment (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari), and circulatory support during procedures. Serve as an integral member of the 4‑person cardiac vascular laboratory team, trained to grow with the evolving field of percutaneous interventional treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab

Pay range: $46.81 – $72.66 per hour. Base pay may be increased with shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
