Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to assist interventional radiology and vascular procedures. The role includes acting as circulator or scrub, supporting angiography, venography, fistulagrams, central lines, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections.

Required qualifications include an accredited radiology tech program, ARRT/WA licensure or equivalent certifications upon hire, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an approved radiology technologist training program.
• Licensure/certifications must be in place upon hire as listed above.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the radiology team during interventional procedures (e.g., angiography, venography, fistulagrams).
• Serve as circulator or scrub assistant during procedures.
• Support central line placements, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections as needed.

Cardiac-Interventional Radiography certification within 1 year

American Heart Association BLS upon hire

Job description

Assist the interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, neuro-interventional radiologist, or neuro surgeon with performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic angiography of the head and body, venography, fistulagrams, central line placement, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Typical roles performed during procedures are as circulator or scrub assist.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, Or
  • Coursework/Training: Two year technical program.
• Coursework/Training:Completion of an approved radiology technologist training program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire, Or
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire, Or
  • National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire, Or
  • National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire, Or
  • National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology.
