Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT, is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to provide interventional/radiologic care under physician supervision.

The role includes assisting physicians, monitoring radiation safety, and contributing to patient care in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will have Montana licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification, and BLS from the American Heart Association, with prior Cardiac Cath Lab or special procedures

Qualifications

• Montana Radiologic Technologist license/certification required on hire.
• ARRT national certification required on hire.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required on hire.
• Completion of accredited radiography program coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional/radiologic care under physician supervision.
• Assist physician during procedures and related tasks.
• Monitor radiation safety during procedures.

Under the direct supervision of the physician, provides Interventional/Radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders; Assists physician as required and does related work as assigned. Monitors radiation safety during procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Radiography Program
• Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab.
