Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, delivering high-quality imaging and patient-centered care across ages.

The role requires a high school diploma, enrollment in a Radiologic Technology program, and current BLS certification. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential. Physical ability to lift and move equipment is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; enrolled in second year of a recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Effective communication skills in English and basic computer knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods, and manipulate radiology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures while maintaining image quality standards.
• Provide compassionate care, recognizing patient dignity and needs.
• Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards.
• Operate radiology equipment, including mobile devices, and adapt to fast-paced workflows.
• Recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.
• Transport and manipulate patients and equipment safely.
