Job summary

You will ensure proper patient positioning, exposure techniques, and safety measures in a clinical setting.

Collaborating with physicians and contributing to QA activities, you will also assist in procedures, document findings, and participate in student training as part of a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate within a clinical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
• Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
• Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices.
• Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to guide examinations.
• Assist physicians with various procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
• Contribute to the educational training of students.
