Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus seeks an Imaging Technologist I to perform radiographic procedures with ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images. You will interact with physicians to interpret results and assist in training students and technologists.

The role requires caring for patients across the lifespan, performing injections when needed, and maintaining safety, timeliness, and accuracy in all procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiology preferred.
• Active Certificate in Radiology required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Radiology Student Permit required as per state.
• State Radiographer Operator License required as per state.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential Indiana within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and use ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic images.
• Conduct preliminary analysis of images and collaborate with physicians to interpret results.
• Assist with training students and technologists; perform injection procedures as needed.
• Care for infant to geriatric patients; ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
