Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa seeks an experienced Imaging Supervisor to lead daily radiology operations on site. The role oversees technologists, coordinates workflow, and ensures safety and quality standards across imaging services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in imaging with leadership experience, ARRT registration, and BLS. This position emphasizes collaboration with radiologists, protocol optimization and budget-conscious supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years imaging experience, with leadership exposure.
• 1+ years leadership experience in imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ARRT radiography registration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and staff on protocols, positioning, image quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety, ALARA and accreditation standards.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, training and competency assessments for technologists and new hires.
• Support leadership in performance management and coaching through the talent care process.
• Collaborate with radiologists and departments to coordinate timely imaging services.
• Participate in quality improvement, image audits, repeat analysis and process improvements.
• Ensure proper equipment functionality and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Support scheduling, timekeeping, inventory and budget goals.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of technologists and imaging operations.
