Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory requirements. This role interfaces with patients to address imaging needs and participates in PI/QC activities, ensuring accurate image processing and timely transmission to PACS.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, be enrolled in a radiologic technology program, and hold current BCLS certification, with at least one year

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing to operate x-ray equipment.
• Completion of first year curriculum requirements.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of clinical experience in the radiology technologist program required
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
