Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport seeks a Radiology Imaging Specialist to perform a full range of imaging procedures across age groups while maintaining safety and quality. You will learn and apply new technologies, assess patients before and after exams, and work with coworkers to support efficient workflows.

The role requires knowledge of imaging procedures, anatomy, pharmacology, and radiographic equipment, plus strong communication in English. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of imaging procedures, positions, anatomy, pathology, and pharmacology.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors for imaging exams.
• Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; maintain privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of imaging procedures with supervision.
• Assess patients pre- and post-procedure; ensure safety and quality.
• Utilize PACS; verify patient/exam accuracy before releasing images.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe manner.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and department goals.
