Job summary

Norton Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with a strong understanding of anatomy and image quality.

The role requires clear communication to patients to alleviate anxiety and thorough knowledge of radiographic positioning, techniques, radiation safety, and quality control. The candidate will need ARRT and state licensure, with the possibility to obtain RAD within 12 months if not currently RADT, and a preference for one year of radiology

Qualifications

• Valid diploma required for radiologic technology.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential and valid State Radiology Technologist License.
• Must obtain RAD license within 12 months of hire if currently hold RADT.
• One year of experience in radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and image quality.
• Explain tests to patients and relieve anxiety.
• Understand Radiographic Positioning, Radiographic Technique, Radiation Safety, Imaging Equipment, Infection Control and Quality Control.
• Present a pleasant and helpful manner to patients, families, physicians, and staff.
