Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The role requires ARRT board certification, NH MIRT licensure, and advanced specialty certifications (Mammography, DXA, MRI, CT or Ultrasound as needed) with a minimum of three years in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include leading departmental training, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care, and maintaining ARRT/ACR standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA Accredited School of Radiological Technology.
  • Board Certified by ARRT and a member of the ARRT.
  • Advanced certification in specialty through ARRT or ARDMS (Mammography, DXA, MRI, CT or Ultrasound as required).
  • Active Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) license through the state of New Hampshire.
  • Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within a clinical setting related to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the short and long term departmental planning and strategy.
  • Oversee training within his/her area of expertise in the department, including identifying needs, developing training, providing/facilitating training, track training, and validating the effectiveness of the training.
  • Provides ongoing and annual input on staff performance to the leadership of the department.
  • Participates in the Quality Assurance Program for his/her area of expertise in the department.
  • Assists in the review, development and revisions of policies and procedures for his/her area of the department.
  • Provide expertise in assigned area of responsibility by: keeping current with the latest technology, trends and best practice; providing guidance, tracking and on-going support for employee training; and validating staff competency.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives and event reporting to ensure high-reliability.
  • Maintain standards that align departmental practice with applicable governing bodies: ASRT, ACR, ARRT, NH Department of Radiologic Health, CMS.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
