Job summary

Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Radiology Technician Intern to support the radiology department. You will assist technologists, observe imaging procedures, and apply knowledge of patient care and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires enrollment in a CAHEA accredited radiography program, eligibility for ARRT within 12 months, and current BLS. You will learn under supervision and contribute to accurate imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in CAHEA accredited radiography program or equivalent.
• Registry eligible with ARRT within twelve (12) months.
• Current BLS.
• Must have State of Nevada Temporary Student License upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology team with patient care in the department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span and assess data to identify patient needs.
• Support imaging procedures under supervision and ensure safety and comfort of patients.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
