Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a PRN Radiology Records Specialist to support the self-directed team in managing electronic medical records, ensuring accurate linkage of orders and images, and providing patient data access. You will collaborate with physicians to document and authenticate records for complete episode histories.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, attention to detail, and efficient data entry across Centricity PACS, Epic Radiant, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong data entry and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as expert in using Centricity PACS and related systems to link orders and images.
• Analyzes radiology systems to resolve deficiencies across EMR and PACS platforms.
• Ensures all radiology orders are dictated and signed by Radiologist.
• Maintains accurate patient identifiers and data integrity across systems.
• Greets physicians, staff, and families and provides access to electronic or paper medical records.
