Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Director of Radiology to lead imaging services across multiple modalities. The role focuses on strategic operations, budget oversight, and staff development within a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with other hospital leaders to advance technology adoption and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences; relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Current NM License in one or more Diagnostic Imaging modalities.
• ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS Licensure required.
• Knowledge of the radiology field including all imaging modalities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to develop business plans.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for all areas of the diagnostic imaging department (Echo, X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, PET).
• Prepares and manages budgets, supervises staff, and ensures quality services in daily operations.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
